Made in Germany
All KIDFIX child seats are completely designed, developed and manufactured in Germany. This enables us to carry out numerous tests in our in-house crash test facility and guarantee the highest possible quality. But it’s not just internally that KIDFIX seats are tested – seats in the KIDFIX range are also among the most tested child seats at EuroNCAP. That means they are regularly tested in the latest cars with the most up-to-date safety technologies – both with and without a backrest – with excellent results. Always on the safe side
Always safe on the go: KIDFIX2 R’s high backrest has softly padded side wings so your child always has the best protection in the event of a side impact. At the same time, SecureGuard helps position the lap belt optimally over the pelvic bones, reducing the risk of injuries to your child’s abdominal region. In addition, the belt clip ensures that the vehicle’s diagonal seat belt is kept in the correct position over your child’s shoulder when the seat is used as a booster seat without the backrest. That way, you can have peace of mind at the wheel.
Removable backrest
A child seat with backrest is the safest option for your child. Which is why we recommend you transport your child in a highback booster seat for as long as possible. For greater flexibility you can also remove the backrest when your child reaches 135 cm. Thanks to SecureGuard and the belt clip the vehicle seat belt is optimally positioned even without the backrest.
Highback booster protection
Our highback boosters protect your child in 3 ways: the seat shell provides head to hip protection for your child, especially in the event of a side impact; the upper and lower belt guides provide correct positioning of the seat belt; and the padded headrest provides safety and comfort for your child’s head and neck.
Easy adjustable, ergonomic headrest
Our headrest is designed especially for older children, when using the 3-point seat belt to secure them in the car seat. It can easily be adjusted to the correct position, just above your child’s shoulders, with one hand – even while they are sitting in the seat. Plus the headrest is ergonomically designed to support your child’s head when they fall asleep.
SecureGuard
The SecureGuard helps to protect your child’s delicate abdominal area by adding an extra – a 4th – contact point to the 3-point seat belt. By keeping the lap belt in an optimal position over your child’s pelvic bones SecureGuard helps reduce abdominal forces in the event of a frontal collision by up to 35 %*, and at the same time allows your child freedom of movement during the journey.

Designed to give optimum support to your growing child, the V-shaped backrest provides more space for their back and shoulders. Plus, the backrest automatically adjusts to match the angle of the vehicle seat, providing a better fit and a comfortable position for your child.
